Outreach
I love to give back to my community whenever I can and I am always looking for opportunities to serve others. Here is some of the outreach I have done!

01
Diaper Drive for Guatemalan Refugees
To collect over 5,000 diapers thanks to everyone's generosity. We collected through an Amazon registry and had a few hand-off donations. With these diapers, we were able to serve the community and provide for all the babies in the refugee community.
The Sister said that there were around over 2,000 refugees living in the community. Thanks to the donations, we are able to provide 50-60 babies diapers for 2 months.

UT TRUE (Teaching Refugees to Understand English)
I am currently the social chair of TRUE at UT Austin. We are a volunteer student organization that is dedicated to teaching refugees English. Through my role as social chair, I was able to grow the club from 30 volunteers to 280 in one semester. We are also working with 18 different Austin schools to provide this program. Working with students and encouraging others to volunteer has been an amazing experience so far!

English Conversation Club
Through my nonprofit and in partnership with HOPE Worldwide, we have created an English Conversation Club where refugee children in the Houston area can learn English every Saturday. Our dedicated volunteers teach English through worksheets and activities to help these children advance in their speaking and comprehension. Most of the refugees come from Guatemala and other areas in Central America.
