Ambiance + Environment:

They are a cozy little coffeehouse with a good amount of seating. The music they play is very calming and good for studying. They have an eclectic selection of different local products for sale on the walls from candles to stickers. The overall vibe is nice and quiet. The temperature, however, is colder than I would have liked.

Drinks:

Dear Diary offers a wide selection of different drinks. They have the standard drinks like lattes that you can customize with different syrups, but they also have their house specials like the "marshmallow latte". I ordered a hot matcha latte, and I have to say this is the best matcha latte I have had here in Austin. It came hot and perfectly frothed with a cute bear latte art on top. The flavor was rich and had the right amount of pastiness from the matcha. The matcha is of true quality and has good flavors. The milk to matcha ratio was great as well, with the drink not too watered down.

Amenities:

Something I value in coffeeshops and restaurants is the bathroom. This bathroom was great! It was clean and spacious, filled with amenities. They also had wifi that worked well. The wifi password is: slurpitup

Other:

They also sell different baked goods and hot food items like kolaches and tacos. The smell of the kolaches emanates through the shop, and it smells amazing. Next time, I will definitely try it!

Overall, I would come back again to try their other drinks because the matcha latte was good and the vibe is nice for studying! I would rate it a solid 8.7/10.
